Welcome

By now  (mid 2022) few people would dispute that our societies are undergoing rapid changes and that we are likely to face more challenges in the probably not-too-distant future. Of course, the fact that we may soon be increasingly confronted with some of the issues illustrated above, unfortunately does not mean that natural disasters (earthquakes etc.) will be taking a holiday.

This New Zealand-based site is an attempt to collate and preserve some free PDF resources which may be of use in the event that they are needed to help us address issues which are likely to be new to many of us. While they can be viewed online in your browser, it is suggested that you may like to download those you feel are relevant (the internet may not always be available) and perhaps print those that are most important (power may not always be available).

You will note that many articles are, of necessity, sourced from overseas. As this is an evolving project, we would be happy to replace them if we can locate more suitable NZ-targeted material. To this end, please do not hesitate to contact us with suggestions.

Occasionally you will already see a PDF Download button with a small kiwi attached. This indicates an article that is either NZ-written or NZ-focused.

You will note that this site is a resource bank only. We are not hosting discussions or making comments about any of the 'looming' events. There are already many online channels providing excellent blogging and chat services.

Update (June 2023)

On the Food & Water page:

  • In addition to the Plan 4 Plenty - Food Abundance in a Crisis + the Plan 4 Plenty - Planner PDFs, for those who may prefer to keep an electronic version of the Plan 4 Plenty Planner, there is now an editable version of the Planner in .docx format.

On the Health page:

  • We also have a new section entitled Inspiration (Mental Health). This has been added in the belief that being a long-term prepper and, in the view of many, doubtlessly also a misinformed "conspiracy theorist", can become taxing emotionally as well as physically.  Here you will find five downloadable (and printable) inspirational passages which may help you weather the turmoil when the going gets tough.
